Vitamin C - that is, L-ascorbic acid - is an organic chemical compound from the group of polyhydroxyalcohols. Its biologically active form - vitamin C, acts as a reducing factor and coenzyme in several metabolic pathways of the human body. Vitamin B1 - Thiamine - contributes to maintaining proper energy metabolism and helps the nervous system to function properly. It helps to maintain adequate psychological functions, as well as the proper functioning of the heart.
