Here are the steps you must follow in order to enjoy the most delicious oatmeal and apple cake!

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees and prepare the baking tray.
  2. Cut the apples into small cubes. It is up to you whether you want to peel them or not.
  3. In a large bowl, add flour, cinnamon, baking powder, salt and oatmeal.
  4. In another, separate bowl, mix the sugar and butter with the help of a mixer, then add the eggs and mix again until the composition is homogeneous.
  5. Add the wet composition for the one from step 3 and mix until everything is homogenized. Gradually add a little milk, to thicken the composition.
  6. With the help of a large spoon, divide the resulting mixture into pieces of the desired size and place them on the baking tray, leaving enough space between them (once the dough hardens, they will increase in volume a little and otherwise they will stick together each other)
  7. Optional: mix a little cinnamon with sugar in a small bowl and spread a little over each cake.
  8. Leave the composition to bake for 15-20 minutes, let them cool and they are ready to serve!

  • 100 g of unsalted butter, at room temperature
  • 150 g of sugar
  • an egg
  • a few spoons of milk
  • 150 g diced apples
