1. Tart with oranges - method of preparation
The orange tart is not only a simple and easy to prepare recipe, but a real delight for the taste buds of adults, but also of the little ones who have an appetite, from time to time, for something sweet. This is notable for its few ingredients and easy to combine, but also for its low level of difficulty, thus being a wonderful choice for those less experienced in the kitchen.
Step 1
After making sure you have all the ingredients ready on the work table, roll out the sablee dough, put it in a baking dish, prick it with a fork and put it in the oven preheated to 180 degrees Celsius for about 20 minutes. Optionally, you can grease the baking form, before putting it in the oven, with a little cooking spray.
Step 2
In a large bowl, squeeze the oranges, carefully scraping them and the peel (this will also be used). Then, put the juice equally in two different bowls.
Step 3
In a saucepan, mix the sugar (or flavors and sweeteners), eggs, corn starch and protein powder (if you opted for it) until you get a homogeneous texture.
Step 4
Over the obtained composition, add the juice and orange peel, stirring continuously, over medium heat.
Step 5
After the cream has thickened, take the pan off the heat and add, little by little, the butter.
Step 6
Add the juice from the other orange and mix well.
Step 7
Pour the orange cream over the baked dough.
Step 8
Spread the mixture evenly in the pan and put the tart in the fridge for an hour.
