Vitamin D3, also known as cholecalciferol, is a fat-soluble vitamin essential for optimal absorption of calcium and phosphorus, as well as maintaining adequate blood calcium levels. The cholecalciferol in this supplement is derived from Icelandic lichen, making it suitable for vegans and vegetarians.

The vitamin K2 (menaquinone-7, MK-7) present in this supplement is known for its role in proper blood clotting and maintaining bone health. It is obtained from the fermentation of soybeans with the help of Bacillus subtilis natto bacteria, making it a vegan source.
