Creatine malate is an improved form of creatine with better solubility and greater chemical stability. The effect of its use is the increase of creatine reserves in the muscles in the form of phosphocreatine, which translates into a greater number of repetitions of a certain exercise during training.

There are many conflicting theories regarding the optimal dose of creatine. It is generally accepted that the daily portion of creatine should be between 5 and 10 g. Does this mean that larger amounts are not absorbed, and smaller amounts will have no effect? The answer is NO. A rather interesting practice is the introduction of the 'saturation phase' which consists in the administration of 15-30g of creatine per day for 3-7 days. Such a procedure allows the rapid increase of the level of this substance in the muscles. After the "saturation phase", small maintenance doses of 2 to 5 g per day are used.
