I am a person who emphasizes performance and its optimization and I decided to share some of my " secrets ". It is known that at the base of a performing athlete are: discipline, diligence, proper nutrition , but also the correct supplementation . Below you will find the supplements that I use frequently to improve my athletic performance:
1. Ashwagandha KSM 66

Ashwagandha is an adaptogen. It has the role of reducing the impact of stress on the body, more precisely it will reduce the secretion of cortisol when we face a stressful situation. It will also improve the quality of sleep, but there are also studies that attest to the fact that it will improve sports performance.

I recommend between 600 and 1200 mg/day every day.

2. Omega 3

Omega 3 fatty acids have in their composition EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid) and DHA (docosahexaenoic acid), they help in hormonal modulation, in the formation of hormones in the body, reduce inflammation in the body, can help in the management of autoimmune and degenerative diseases.

I recommend a supplement that has a DHA-EPA ratio of 2-1 or 3-2 in its composition. The dosage I recommend is 1500DHA-750EPA/day every day.

3. Creatine

Creatine is an amino acid that helps restore ATP reserves. That is, it has a direct impact on the body's energy reserves. Studies attest to the fact that it has a direct impact on muscle resistance and an indirect impact on the development of muscle strength.

I recommend between 5 and 8g of creatine/day every day.

4. Complex of vitamins and minerals

From a nutritional point of view, vitamins, minerals and antioxidants belong to the category of micronutrients, they are essential for the proper functioning of the body. Due to the fact that it is impossible to bring the optimal intake of micronutrients (that is, a complete spectrum in optimal dosages), it is theoretically necessary to supplement. The simplest and most effective way to do this is a complex of vitamins and minerals.

The recommended dosage varies depending on the brand of the vitamin complex.

5. Proteins

A protein supplement is not essential, but if used correctly, it can complement a poor diet, so as to help achieve the optimal protein intake. It is extremely important that the protein filtration process is as efficient as possible, but also that the amino acid spectrum of the respective supplement is as good as possible. The best protein supplements on the market, in my opinion, are the ones listed in this category, including a vegan version.
